How to choose baby stroller which is comfortable, reliable and reasonably priced, and not to lose yourself in huge number of different kinds?

Child’s safety is the greatest concern. Before buying, check strollers for stability. Also check the stroller harness and height of the handles – are they handy and comfortable for you? Foam-covered handles are the best choice for comfort.

Some strollers come with snack and drinks’ holders, toy bars, rain hoods and more. Many of these accessories are sold separately. That’s why you can choose what you especially need.

Kinds of strollers:

Lightweight Strollers
They weights under 20 pounds. This type of strollers offers sun shades, reclining seats and storage baskets. They are a good choice for travels and going to public places. Lightweight strollers are inexpensive and economical choice.

Standard Strollers
They are heavier and larger than lightweight stroller, feature larger wheels, roomier seats and more storage space. But larger strollers may be hard to handle in crowded places.

Jogging Strollers
Out-doorsy parents may want to choose a jogging stroller. They can be operated on almost any surface due to their large tires, reliable frames, all-terrain suspension systems and hand-grip brakes. Jogging strollers are much recommended for those parents who travel a lot.

Young mothers are often interested in whether there are rules determining the development of children under one year. The fact is that the norms of child development based on medical statistics, allow parents to be aware of the pace of development of their babies. However, they are very approximate, since the maturation of the brain responsible for psychomotor skills is individual for each child. Here are the main peculiarities of your baby’s first year development:

Motor development of children under one year
By the end of the first month the baby raises its head, trying to hold it back. In two months it already holds a toy nested in its hand. In three months, the baby learns to control the body, leaning on the handles, bent at an acute angle. At four months the child turns on the flank, resting on his hands at right angles, lying on its stomach.

In five months the baby turns from back to belly, resting on hands, lying on stomach. At the age of 6 months the baby turns from its stomach to its back. By seven months a child crawls on the belly and sits by itself. By eight months baby sits steady as good as sits down and gets on all fours. By nine months baby crawls on all fours, getting on its feet for support, takes a small object with two or three fingers. By ten months it stands for a while without support, collects pyramid. In eleven months the baby takes the first steps by itself. By the first birthday a child walks itself, crouches and stands up.

Speech development of children under one year
For three months a baby begins to coo and distinguish the tone of adults. By six months the child utters a chain of syllables “ma-ma-ma-ma” and “ba-ba-ba-ba”. By nine months, there should be separate words. The kid turns to the adult to say something, often in its “own” language. By the year the child begins to develop emotional and intonational aspect of speech, vocabulary of year-olds ranges from 2-3 to 15-20 words, mostly onomatopoeic words or simplified.

A matter of great importance
Choosing right baby clothes is very important because our kids must feel comfortable and be safe in them. Baby clothes also must be soft and require very little maintenance. Pay special attention to their quality and make sure they are made of natural fabrics. You must take into consideration the ambient temperature to choose the clothes for your baby. For instance, during hot and dry summer time they need to wear light colored clothes made with 100 % cotton. As evenings are comparatively colder you’d rather put full sleeves and heavier material clothes on your infants and toddlers.

The right choice of clothes for babies isn’t easy. Verify that the toes of pants, pajamas or crawlers are not folded as it means that they are too small. You must pay special attention to maintaining such clothing in good condition. If your infant has sensitive skin, hand wash its outfit using mild soap. Don’t overuse softeners as they can cause irritation.

Several simple rules
Throughout the first several weeks, babies’ development is extremely fast. That’s why while buying new clothes for them, follow some simple rules: 1) buy clothes one size bigger; 2) don’t buy many clothes altogether. Thus, 2 items of onesies, rompers, body shirts, baby socks and baby booties as well as hooded towels will be enough, but you would rather buy at least 3 sets of pajamas.
